David Garza, Rector and Executive President of the Tec, announced his chairship of the Universitas 21 network from May 2025 during the U21 Annual Network Meeting and Presidential Symposium.

After two years of collaboration, Tec de Monterrey and UN Women have reaffirmed their commitment to gender equality through the HeForShe movement.

The rectors of Tec de Monterrey and UNAM shared achievements and challenges more than two years after forming their alliance, which already includes the participation of more than 60 researchers from both institutions. It also now includes allies such as FEMSA, CEMEX, and BBVA.

The 2024 edition of the Mujer Tec Award recognized members of its community in various fields for their contributions to society. It was also an occasion to pay tribute to its founder, Lumi Velázquez (†).

Former Tec de Monterrey President Salvador Alva spoke to CONECTA in the EGADE Business School auditorium during the presentation of his book Lo que un líder no debe delegar (What a Leader Should Not Delegate).
